Our Story

At Sweet Sensations, the best chocolates start with the finest ingredients. Our chocolate comes from Africa through France, peanuts from Virginia, pecans from Georgia, cashews and Brazil nuts from South America, almonds and raisins from California, as well as sugar, popcorn, organic cream and pure maple syrup from right here in Michigan. Sourced from around the world, these ingredients come together in what we believe are the most delicious chocolates and confections you’ll ever taste—we think you’ll agree!

In 1995, Les and Sherry Pardee purchased a long-empty building in desperate need of loving care at 129 East Grand River in Fowlerville, Michigan. After five years of dedicated renovations, Sweet Sensations was born. Over the next 25 years, Les and Sherry created countless beloved recipes, building a reputation for handcrafted chocolates made with love and care.

When it came time to retire, they passed the torch to Mike and Jenn Meloche, fellow Fowlerville residents who share their passion for chocolate and community. To ensure a seamless transition, Mike and Jenn trained under Les and Sherry for months, learning the craft and traditions that have made Sweet Sensations a local favorite for decades.
